Anti-GM vandals have wrecked a container and storage facilities to be used for a field trial of GM potatoes in a field near Golzern in Germany. As a result, the test has been aborted.

BASF, the company hoping to carry out the test, explained that it wanted to protect the owner of the field from further attacks.
